It's a Wonderful Life.

Eric and I have been so busy with work and school that I haven't had time to update everyone! We were lucky enough to make a quick trip down to Chandler a few weekends ago for a wedding. I wish we could have stayed longer and visited more people. I will get pictures up from that weekend soon. I can't believe it is already November! I am so excited for the holiday season, but I'm feeling a little overwhelmed as well. I am so excited to have my own Christmas decorations this year and my first Christmas as a married women. Time to make our own traditions.

Decemeber is both crazy and exciting for Eric and I. We are getting SEALED, so that is such a blessing. Maybe I'm crazy for picking this time of year, but what better time?!

I love the Portland Temple! It is so beautiful.

Oregon. Keizer to be exact.

Eric and I are finally settling into our apartment. We love it! It is so nice to be able to unpack everything and start to feel at home. It is great to be around our family and friends again, but we have been soo busy with organizing the apartment, catching up on laundry, and WORK. Eric got a great job at Sprint. We have been so blessed to find great jobs. Things just keep getting better and better. Except..the WEATHER! Blah. That is one down side to Oregon. The weather has not been very nice lately. I miss Arizona and having a pool and BBQ's where it is still warm in the evening. All I have to say is it better at least snow this winter! Hopefully we will make a few trips down to Arizona too :) We miss all of our wonderful friends!

We are busy now and life is only going to get busier! School starts at the end of the month. Eric is going to Western Oregon and I'm taking three classes at Chemeketa Community College. I'm sure being so busy will make the time fly! I can't wait for the day when we are done with school. Although, I'm kind of excited to start up again. It's nice to get into a routine and take classes that are actually interesting. So with that said, wish us luck! And stay in touch!

Bitter Sweet ending.

Our four months here in Arizona are now coming to an end. We have truly loved all the wonderful people we have been privileged to meet here. It's going to be strange to go back to Oregon and not have those people around. We love the warm weather here, but the 110+ gets old reeeeally fast. We LOVE the wards down here. It has been a nice change to the wards in Oregon. Next Sunday is our last day at Galveston 3rd :( I'm going to be so sad when we have to leave. I'd like to give a shout out to a few amazing people for being so welcoming.

Sister Rhees, Tuppence Bailey, The McCook's, Mallory Withers & Alex, James & Erin Low + Brady, Chris & Angela Hoach + Kaitlin, Jacob + Caleb, Jenny Goodbrand, Nathan Webster, David Bezzant, The Lewis's, Lisa Moore, Marlene Tays, Daniel & Selma Escobar, The Kistemann's, Brooke Wood, Ali & Dalen Wilcock, Caraline Williams, The Cenatiempo's, Juanita Withers, Jennifer Johns, Roger & Kimi Dona + baby Raiah, Katie Pond, Jake & Brittney Scott, Tyler & Mona Blanchard, Raul, Jakiah. Especially the Wood/Harding family :) We love you!

And that's just to name a few (so if I forgot anyone..sorry!!) We are so thankful to have met each and every one of you. Without you all this adventure would have never seemed worth it. Arizona will always be a second home to us and we hope to visit as often as we can. This is all so bitter sweet and I'm sad to be leaving, but I know that Heavenly Father sent us to Arizona for a reason and now we need to go back to Oregon. We have school to finish up, OREGON STATE football season tickets, and lots of family and friends that we miss and want to see. Wouldn't it be nice if we could just live in AZ October through April and then OR May through September?! I think YES!!

*Don't forget that if you ever want to visit Oregon that we would love to be your tour guides* :)

Lifestyles.

Billy Blanks' Tae Bo Cardio is the start to our new healthy living lifestyle. We starting to eat better and count our calories. I've been getting used to sleeping in a little bit, so it was REALLY hard to wake up and get pumped for TAE BO. We did it though. Eric was a trooper (he's just a little bit more out of shape than I am ;) ) Then I made a nice breakfast and he was off to work. For those of you who don't know.. he walks around selling pest control door to door alllll day. Someone is going to be SORE today. You've gotta start somewhere though right? I've been meaning to get back into a routine for a while now. Eric wants to lose some weight, so I signed up to be his fitness coach =) I thought it would be a good thing for the both of us. I just have to hide my pain, so he doesn't see how much it really hurts me too haha. I look over at him and smile and when I turn back I cringe. I'm sooo out of shape. I really do like doing these videos though. I'm not the type of person that can come up with a work out. I end up just watching the clock to see how long it has been since I started. I can't help but laugh at some of the things they do in the videos though. Billy, do you really have to rub baby oil all over you so you look sweaty from the start??

New Hobby?

My mom always made me clothes as a little girl and made masterpiece quilts. I've made one quilt and it was nothing fancy schmancy, just plain old squares with a nice little border. I was proud of myself to start somewhere. After that project though, I never found myself wanting to branch out any more. I stitched up the bottom of my pants that had come undone and frayed, but that was about the best of my ability. I recently bought this adorable book to enhance my skills and give me a new hobby. I give thanks to my amazing Relief Society women for helping me find this inner want to make new, fashionable, homemade clothing. I'm thinking a new chic wardrobe is what I need! Off to the fabric store I go! I might need a few buddies.. any takers??

Funky Fonts. Here's to learning!

My blog was looking a little sad, so I went crazy learning all about backgrounds and fun fonts. I'm off to a good start, but now I need to figure out how to change the 'blog title' font. I'm all tuckered out for the day. I've also found some awesome blogs to follow! There are some amazing bloggers out there. I don't know if I want to be thaaat involved, but I love all the recipes and crafts and sewing projects :)
